On BookDomainHosting, a domain transfer fee for each name is charged against a fixed fee, so you pay nothing more than this initial cost and the ICANN registration, if applicable. We also allow you to keep the remaining time in your current records, and grant one year of free registration for each transfer *. Depending on the number of domains you are moving, this can save you significant savings.
Domains can be moved at almost any time. However, ICANN prohibits the transfer of domains within 60 days of prior registration or transfer (except .au). ICANN Policy
Be sure to update the email address indicated for the administrative contact (administrator) in each domain. The current registrar can use this address to contact you during the transfer. For .au domains, the administrator contact is called the registrar's contact name.
Next, open each of the domain names that you want to move. Contact the current registrar for details on how to do it.
BookDomainHosting buys domain transfers for up to 500 of your domain names at a time, and each one appears on a separate line in our great domain transfer tool. If the extension you want to move is not in the list, you can not move the domain name.
In Select your transport name servers, choose one of the following options:
a) Keep my servers from existing names. If your transport domain name is associated with an active website, select this option to ensure there are no interruptions in site performance during the transition.
b) Switch to the BookDomainHosting Garden name servers. If you have an email with us to obtain the domain name, or you are using DNS outside the site, or have created a Premium DNS Transfer Template before moving, select this option.
Note: If you select this option and do not use the external DNS or DNS Premium Transfer Template, we will stop the domain name on our parking name servers and create a default zone file in your account with us. You can use the Zone File Editor in the DNS Manager to customize the new zone file. For more information, see Manage DNS for your domain names.
Note that there are special instructions for moving the .uk, .ca, .eu, .es, .se and .au domain names to BookDomainHosting.
Most domain transfers take between five and seven days. The time it takes depends on the extension. For details on how to move ccTLDs, go to About ccTLDs and click on the help article on domain extension.
Absolutely Follow the progress of your transfers by following these steps:
Log in to my BookDomainHosting account.
Next to Domains, click on the Play button.
At the top right, drag the list of Domains and click Pending transfers. You should see the following information for each transfer domain name:
Status: this tells you where you are in the transfer. Hover over the progress bar of any transfer, click? Click on the icon or click on the link Action required or Error displayed for more details.
Admin email: This field displays the email address associated with this domain name.
When your domain expires, you will be charged annually for the maintenance of your domain. Price is the current annual retail price applicable to the domain.
